College of Medicine and Dentistry (CoMD)

The College of Medicine and Dentistry (CoMD) is the UK's first private college dedicated to clinical dental education. Established in 2018, CoMD offers a range of postgraduate education and clinical training in dentistry, medicine, and healthcare at PhD, MSc, Diploma, and Certificate levels. The college collaborates with Ulster University to provide various career progression opportunities .

CoMD is committed to student-centered education, focusing on upskilling clinicians who wish to enhance their practice in specific branches of dentistry, medicine, or healthcare. The college's part-time student body largely comprises UK clinicians, while its full-time students are almost exclusively international, many sponsored by their governments .

The college's facilities include a 7,600 sqft campus in central Birmingham, comprising a state-of-the-art simulation center and clinical facilities, alongside an outreach center. CoMD aims to deliver progressive healthcare patient care and education, alongside collaborative research and teaching facilities .
