Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU)

Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU) is a public university in Ontario, Canada, with campuses in Waterloo, Brantford, and Milton. Established in 1911 as the Evangelical Lutheran Seminary, it evolved into Waterloo College and later became Waterloo Lutheran University in 1960. In 1973, the university was renamed Wilfrid Laurier University to honor Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Canada's seventh Prime Minister .​
